2015-2016 Points of Pride

CHS earned the grade of "B" from the DOE (A-F rating for the 2014-2015 school year)

CHS completed year two of our 1:1 iPad initiative, and adopted digital texts for math classes for 2016-17

Joe Glowacki was named FCSC "Teacher of the Year" for 2015-2016 and finished in the top three candidates recognized by the DOE

The Robotics Team received a gift of $10,000 from Paul Sekuler

Adam Kelly received a grant of $5,000 from the United Way for weight room improvements

Brent Duncan received a grant of $1,000 on behalf of the CHS Athletic department, from the Fayette County Drug Coalition, to be used for drug testing at CHS

Graduation rate for 2015 = 92.7%

Facility improvements!
New tennis courts and lights were installed
Spartan Bowl received a new floor
Robert E Wise auditorium received a new sound system
A new security vestibule was constructed and all CHS doors are locked between classes
